Hindsight is 20/20 when it comes to the Great Staying Home of 2020. If we knew then what we knew now, we might have made some changes and some special purchases, big and small. Mentioned: "My coronavirus recovery mistake was watching Tiger King."

On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.
We debate a bit as to whether today's Would You Rather question on where we'd rather live is about size of abode, freedom from yard work, or sharing walls with strangers. However we frame the question, though, we've got opinions. What would yours be?
On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.
Reports on early school times for teens and whether it works against their actually, you know, learning things inspired us to chat about sleep patterns — our kids' and our own. Or maybe, in the second case, "lack of sleep" patterns would be more appropriate. (Mentioned: the app Calming Lia.) Want more? Listen to the rest of this February 2017 episode.
On this week’s Roundabout Roundup, Twitter and Instagram feeds to cheer you during unprecedented times. Catherine chose @briancgrubb on Twitter, Nicole shouted out @anxiousmoms on Instagram, and Terri recommended @sparknotes and @quarantinerules on Twitter.

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist took an extraordinary week off, so we checked in with one of our past watches: One Day at a Time, now relaunched on PopTV after Netflix inexplicably cancelled it. All our faves and yours are back, except the full-length theme song.
In Neptune, it's not Easter but Christmas ("An Echolls Family Christmas"). This was a fun whodunit ep, as Veronica and Keith worked parallel cases centered on the Echolls's home. Next week: "Silence of the Lamb," and "Zoey's Extraordinary Outburst."
Since we've been sheltering at home due to the pandemic, we've had several birthdays and now Easter to observe. While the pressure's off to host a big party, the pressure's on to make sure that special occasions still feel special. Mentioned: Jesus Christ Superstar on YouTube; it's expired now, but Andrew Lloyd Webber will be releasing a new show every weekend on his The Shows Must Go On channel.

Like they say on Facebook, “it’s complicated.” Want more? Listen to the rest of this February 2017 episode. |
