On this week’s Roundabout Roundup, Nicole's Instagram Minute brings us @kalesalad (yes, Nicole recommended something with the words "kale" and "salad" in it!). Terri shouts out TaxAct for both its ease of use and its procastination-beating, good-deed-doing promotion: File your tax return with TaxAct by 4/15 and they'll donate 10 meals to the Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund. Catherine remembers the late Adam Schlesinger with this performance at NPR's Tiny Desk. (Another wonderful tribute is at Rolling Stone.)
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.

While there are really no pros to this pandemic, we are still trying to count our blessings, from health and shelter for our families to saving on gas and getting our walks in.
We want to follow the rules to keep everyone safe, but some social contact does seem essential. And also: Zoom, don't fail us now! Mentioned: This NJ.com article titled "Sorry, hanging out while 6 feet apart isn't coronavirus social distancing, expert says."
What We’re Watching: ZEP “Zoey’s Extraordinary Silence” and Veronica Mars “Drinking the Kool-Aid”4/7/2020
On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week, "Zoey's Extraordinary Silence" really did bring something extraordinary: a dance featuring American Sign Language and deaf performers. Bravo! Mentioned: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend song round-ups in memory of Adam Schlesinger.
On Veronica Mars, Veronica got involved in a touchy-feely, huggy-squeezy cult, and decided not to find out who's her daddy. Mentioned: Jonathan Bennett (who played Mooncalf Casey) on Dancing with the Stars. Next: "An Echolls Family Christmas" and we'll also discuss the first three episodes of the new season of One Day at a Time (available on PopTV and TVLand). Episode transcript
We report in on what we have, what we don't have, and what we might have stocked up on had we known we should be doing that.
On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.

On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.
An experienced mom recently told Catherine that she felt it was important for kids to have a talent, skill, interest, hobby — whatever — that they know they are good at. We certainly do agree, and yet ... as with so many things about parenting, it’s easier said than done. Want more? Listen to the rest of this February 2017 episode.
On this week’s Roundabout Roundup, online entertainment galore: Catherine shares writer Melisa Wells's updated-daily list, Creative Ways to Connect and Learn While Social Distancing. Nicole's found another Instagram account that makes her chuckle: @onefunnymommy, while Terri's giggling at the dogs on Reddit's WhatsWrongWithYourDog.
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
It's hard to stay connected while also staying socially distant, but our kids and communities are getting creative. We'd love to hear how your family is bridging the gap between keeping safe and keeping in touch.
Social isolation judginess is all the rage, but are we judging those who are doing it wrong, or judging the judgers?
