A tweet from @momsense_ensues inspired us to list all the many laws of parenting we've learned the hard way, like "You can never make a child eat, pee, or sleep."

We're just discussing one episode of Veronica Mars today, but what an episode it is. The season 1 finale brings all kinds of revelations (including the huge one Terri predicted), action, and drama, plus the triumphant return of Backup the dog.
We can sum up the whole season as "Parents Behaving Badly," but we're going to dive into season 2 anyway. To soften what will surely be a blow, we'll also watch the NBC show World of Dance. Next week: Veronica Mars season 2 episode 1, "Normal Is the Watchword" and World of Dance season 4 episode 3, "Qualifiers 3."
Pets can really make our time at home happier, as this Facebook post from the Bobby Bones Show notes. We're even charmed by other people's pets and by wild animals (but only some of them).
On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.
Today's topic: Those things other people do that drive us up a wall. All we'll say here is, be careful eating around Nicole.
On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.

On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Terri found a Panasonic cordless phone system that meets her elusive landline needs, and Nicole's enjoying vacuuming now that she has a Shark Apex lift-away vacuum cleaner. Catherine shouts out Sips By for all your tea-drinking needs.
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
We're starting to be able to get haircuts and dental cleanings again, and go out to restaurants. But with all the new rules and procedures, we're not sure we want to.
A survey found that two in five people think they've changed for the better due to the pandemic. We're not ready to go that far, although we can find a few positives.
On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, first we have an episode that makes us squeamish because of the way it shames girls and gay people ("M.A.D."). And then we have one that makes us squeamish because we have to relive Shelly Pomroy's party via many, many flashbacks ("A Trip to the Dentist"). The only good guys here are Wallace and Weevil. Next week: The season finale, "Leave It to Beaver."
Catherine's daughter virtually graduated, and she gives the report on how it all went, from car parade to YouTube slide show. Mentioned: Gabrielle Blair of Design Mom and her online graduation report.
