On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Nicole's daughter loves her new Bedsure linens, which were a bargain but don't look it (or feel it). Catherine recommends a Storyworth subscription as a great gift for grandparents, and Terri shouts out a new podcast from the "Freakonomics" team called "No Stupid Questions."
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
When kids are older, keeping them safe goes way beyond buckling them into a car seat and covering all the electrical outlets. You have to follow them on social media, for example. and figure out a way to make alcohol boring instead of tempting.
How honest should you be with other parents about your life? Your honesty could really help another parent (see this Instagram post from @FruitsofMotherhood). But is telling all betraying your kid? As ever, we can't pick a side.
On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week, World of Dance moves from Callbacks to Duels, and we're generally in agreement with the decisions the judges make (plus. we're happy to see tWitch show up as a guest judge).
We had planned to discuss season 2, episode 4 of Veronica Mars, "Green-Eyed Monster," today, but it was no match for the release of Hamilton on Disney+!! At long last, Terri got to see the show for the first time, and Catherine got to see it with the original cast. So we had to talk about it. We will return to Veronica Mars next week, along with the second round of WOD duels.

On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.

On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Terri's enjoying her new iPhone SE (which is not too big for her dainty hands). Nicole found another adorable dog on Instagram, what_about_bunny, and this one can talk (!) using a tool called Fluent Pet. Catherine binged Lenox Hill on Netflix, and it was a trip down memory lane. Mentioned: Lenox Hill on the Extra Hot Great podcast; interview with ER physician Dr. Mirtha Macri.
