On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Nicole and her family are keeping germs away with the Clean Door Anti-Contact Tool, and on a related note, Catherine reports that Hanes makes comfortable, inexpensive face masks. Terri escaped into a history of the founding of Banana Republic with the book Wild Company by Mel and Patricia Ziegler. Mentioned: Her past shout-out of Abandoned Republic on Facebook.

After hearing about an opportunity to sleep over at the last Blockbuster video store in the world, we obsessed about cool slumber party venues, from malls, mattress stores, and museums to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia.
We appreciate all the work that goes into pandemic protection cleaning and hygiene practices. But we've noticed that sometimes, a little flaw in the system kind of defeats the whole purpose.
On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2: World of Dance wrapped up with a second set of semi-finals and then a fizzle of a finale (partly thanks to the pending pandemic, but also, the performances peaked in the semi-finals and fell flat in the finals).
On Veronica Mars, we finally get an episode about moms instead of dads (including one surprise mom-to-be at the ending). But the best thing about "My Mother, the Fiend" was the renewed alliance between Logan and Weevil. Next: We'll watch the next two episodes from season 2, "One Angry Veronica" and "Donut Run."
We talk about an Illinois school district that made the news for banning pajamas during remote schoolwork. While we agree that respect and routine are both important, doesn't everybody have bigger fish to fry here? (And don't most adults wear the loungiest clothes they can get away with when working remotely?)
On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.
We reminisce about some concerts we've seen — and no lies on the list. (Mentioned: Terri's report on Lyle Lovett/Bonnie Raitt vs. Aaron Carter.)
On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.
Nicole brings us this week's rant, about parents who elbow other kids out of the way to help their own offspring get ahead. Want more? Listen to the rest of this July 2017 episode.
On this week’s Roundabout Roundup, a real hodge-podge awaits you. Terri's loving Taylor Swift's surprise new album, "Folklore." Nicole fulfilled her husband's wish for a bidet with the Luxe Bidet Neo 120 toilet attachment (Nicole's calling it a gateway bidet). And Catherine wants you to know that you can now get cauliflower rice at Chipotle.

Nicole's obsessed with her new kitten, and we've seen many other families bring home new pets (and toys like boats and motorcycles) during the pandemic. Did you develop a new obsession when so much else in life got cancelled? Mentioned: Covers for your Roomba from Robo Rascals.
Thanks to pandemic restrictions, it's been months since any of us has been home alone. Instead of complaining, we dream about what we'd do with that elusive alone time if we had some. (Spoiler: We're a little out of practice.)
