On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.
Do your kids represent themselves to their pediatrician, or are you the one doing all the talking? How can you transition teens and young adults to self-advocacy so you can be released from the room where it happens (and the pressure of being the family medical caseworker)? Finding the right doctor helps, unsurprisingly. Want more? Listen to the rest of this December 2016 episode.

On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Terri enjoys listening to and creating playlists on Apple Music (follow her at temauro). Nicole enjoyed some restful sleep thanks to Sheraton Hotels' linens, and Catherine enjoys the sweet TV show The Repair Shop on Netflix.
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
How do you cope when you and your kids have a different idea about the ideal frequency of saying, or hearing, the words "I love you"? We obsess about what's enough, too much, and just right.
This article on parents staying up too late (in an attempt to get some kid-free time) got us complaining about how the bedtime struggles never really end when kids get older. They're just different. As in, parents of older kids struggle to stay up past their kids' bedtimes, instead of the other way around.
On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week: Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist delivered a little less singing and a lot less dancing than we'd like, in "Zoey's Extraordinary Boss." We're hoping next week's "Zoey's Extraordinary Neighbor" brings back the razzmatazz.
Meanwhile, in Neptune, the Veronica Mars case of the week had a rather heartwarming ending. At least her client found his parent, while Veronica is still searching for hers. Next week: "The Wrath of Con."
After reading about this mom, who checks in with other parents when her teen goes to their homes, we talked about whether we do the same (or do anything else that might make us Those Weird Parents).
On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.
Today's question asks about how much we can bear to pay for hair cutting (and styling and coloring and what-all). Looking at the pictures on our homepage, perhaps you can guess who among us cuts her own hair in order to avoid the $20 fee at the cheapest haircut place. Do you pay big bucks or pinch pennies when it comes to haircuts?

Want more? Listen to the rest of this December 2016 episode. Roundabout Roundup: Wahl Pet Deodorant, Plackers Flossers, Luden’s Wild Cherry Cough Drops2/21/2020
On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Nicole found a smelly-dog solution in Wahl Deodorizing and Refreshing Pet Deodorant, Catherine is stockpiling a lifetime supply of Plackers flossers, and Terri's finding comfort in Luden's Wild Cherry cough drops.
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
A tweet from @jdesmondharris on weird little things we just can't manage to do got us obsessing about our own life skill failings, from legitimate flossing to whistling to following a recipe. What can you just not do?
