When our kids were small, we couldn't wait to get beyond hours-long bedtime routines and driving them all over the place. But now, we kinda miss those times—and enjoy revisiting them once in a while.
On today's episode, we complain about the division of household labor that puts us squarely in charge of all telephone transactions. Why, oh why, can't anyone else in our house ever place a call?
On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week: After watching "Patty," the penultimate episode of The Good Place, Terri's hoping for one more holy-mother-forking-shirtballs twist to make the show work for her. Next week: "Whenever You're Ready."
On The West Wing, we said goodbye to all our favorites as the Bartlet administration headed off into the sunset on "Tomorrow," the series finale. But we're not quite done with this show. (Mentioned: An earlier discussion of fancy underwear.) Want more? Listen to the rest of this October 2016 episode.
On this week’s Roundabout Roundup, Catherine is cautiously optimistic about air frying (in this Breville Smart Oven), and Terri is enjoying lemon cookie mini bars and iced cinnamon puffs from WW (formerly WeightWatchers). Continuing our food-and-drink theme, Nicole recommends Bolthouse smoothies for sneaky vegetable consumption.
