It's a delicate subject, but we do all have some bad diet story or other, from grapefruits to cabbage to partial vegan. There's one we give thumbs-up to, too.

We're dreaming again on today's Speed Round, this time about an all-expenses-paid trip to whatever world monument we'd like to see. Special guest appearance by Nicole's dog Missy, who probably just wants to visit the backyard.

18:09 The Polka King: Continuing the biopic-of-bad-people theme, Catherine challenged Terri to watch this Netflix original starring Jack Black as a polka musician/Ponzi schemer. It was more enjoyable to Catherine since she's very familiar with its Northeastern Pennsylvania setting.

For next week, Terri challenged Catherine to watch the pilot episodes of two under-rated (and poorly titled) sitcoms, Go On and Trophy Wife. We'll also continue with One Day at a Time ("To Zir, With Love" and "Roots") and The West Wing ("Privateers").

Our splurges aren't exactly extravagant, but our teeth, hair, and Fitbits have been the beneficiaries of some special spending. But are we always happy with the results?
