Not every product needs to come with an extra, like a chart to keep track of your face masks, or be called a "system." Slow your roll and just let us live, please. Mentioned: Queen Mathilde of Belgium and her coordinating masks.
It's boyfriend troubles for both our heroines this week. Zoey's dreams are really nightmares, and poor Max can't seem to do anything to help her. Next week: "Zoey's Extraordinary Employee."
On Veronica Mars, Logan and Veronica are dancing around their significant trust, jealousy, and trauma issues. Sounds like a recipe for romance! Next: "Charlie Don't Surf."
An article on peer support for mental health got us talking. Is this wise, or even practical? We're all for more mental health help, but all we see here are downsides.
On Speed-Round Sunday, we share a mini episode from our past for your weekend listening pleasure.
Nicole's got us all beat as we count up the houses, apartments, dorms, and other domiciles we've occupied in our lives.
On Second-Listen Saturday, we share some fun moments from past episodes for your weekend listening pleasure.
Stop the madness: When seventh-graders are taking SAT prep classes, that's a bad sign.

On this week’s Roundabout Roundup: Terri's enjoying the Too Long, Didn't Watch podcast with Alan Sepinwall (and a series of celebrity guests). Nicole follows up last week's NordicTrack bike recommendation with a replacement seat that's saving her butt, and Catherine wants you to smell like a (clean) baby butt with A&D ointment for dry, cracked skin. Also mentioned: The Poscast.
Thanks as always to Jon Morin for our fun in-and-out music, which you hear on every episode.
While none of us are the primary chefs in our homes, we still have strong opinions about what kitchen gear is essential and what just takes up too much space. Mentioned: The Huffington Post's list of useful purchases for every household; Nicole's fancy trash can; and reusable bowl covers, aka shower caps.
Some are morning people, some are night owls, and some do their best work in the middle of the night. We think it's too bad that the early birds run the world. Mentioned: The Start School Later campaign.
What We’re Watching: ZEP “Zoey’s Extraordinary Distraction” and Veronica Mars “My Big Fat Greek Rush Week”
On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week, both our current watches have us worried about how the season will go. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist seems to be floating away without the weight of Zoey's father's terminal illness. If it's going to be fun and fluffy, it needs to be shorter--and more fun and fluffy. Next: "Zoey's Extraordinary Dreams."
On Veronica Mars, if the season-long mystery is "Who is the Hearst College rapist?", we're not sure we can stick around. We'd rather go back to the charismatically evil Aaron Echolls, who was so central to the two previous seasons. Next: "Wichita Linebacker."
As our kids get older, we have to look at milestones in new ways. What are we looking forward to with our adult and nearly adult children? Mentioned: Last week's family shout-outs; a milestones discussion from 2016.
Join parenting and education writers Terri Mauro, Catherine Holecko, and Nicole Eredics for daily chats on parenting teens and young adults (and a little TV-watching too).
