DWTS Week 3, Good Place Premiere, and West Wing “Running Mates”

On our entertainment-themed Round 2 this week, we keep busy with three episodes of TV and two accompanying podcasts. On Dancing with the Stars, the annoyingly dragged-out elimination was even more annoying because it was 100% unnecessary, as Ray Lewis withdrew due to injury. But in the meantime, don't sleep on Kate Flannery. You go, girl!

The Good Place premiered ("A Girl From Arizona") with a little too much angst and worry for our heroes, although we very much enjoy the show's podcast, hosted by Marc Evan Jackson and featuring this week actors D'Arcy Carden and Kirby Howell-Baptiste and writer Andrew Law.

On The West Wing, it was a Leo-centric episode that is unfortunately one of John Spencer's last ("Running Mates"). Mentioned: The West Wing Weekly podcast and Michelle Obama's memoir, Becoming.
