What We’re Reading and Watching: The Heir Affair and Veronica Mars “Green-Eyed Monster”

On this week's entertainment-themed Round 2, we promised you the second round of World of Dance duels, but it turns out they're airing tonight, July 14, so we'll discuss them next week. Instead, we talked about The Heir Affair, a sequel to The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan of Go Fug Yourself (which we discussed in 2017). The new book is a delightful continuation of the stories and characters we'd so enjoyed in round 1. Recommended!

We can't really recommend the episode of Veronica Mars we watched, titled "Green-Eyed Monster" and guest-starring Laura Bell Bundy as a truly annoying client of Mars Investigations. She hired Veronica to investigate her fiance, but he's the one who dodged a bullet. Next: Season 2 episode 5, "Blast from the Past."
